| Since the beginning of time, organizations have devoted
significant effort to define their goals and to developing strategies
to help achieve them. Yet we all know that the strategies often fail
to produce the outcomes they were designed to produce. Why does this
happen? Sometimes the organization cannot bring the required resources
to bear, sometimes the market won’t cooperate, but often time
the organization hasn’t developed the capabilities needed to
implement the strategies at the tactical level. Excellence in implementing
strategic direction through projects translates into competitive advantage.
Project performance affects the bottom line. Mature project management
plots a path to project success. The techniques have changed as a result
of the Project Management Institute publishing its Operational Project
Management Maturity Model (OPM3©). This seminar will introduce
the participants to the theory behind OPM3 and how to introduce it
in their organization
