Background |
| All projects need some level of management. The larger
and more complex a project is, the greater the need for more formal,
standard, structured, and disciplined process. All firms use a methodology – either
the informal "in-my-head" type or one that is documented
to a greater or lesser degree. A project methodology supplies the "how-to." Project
management discipline originates from documented and organized processes,
commonly called a methodology. There is no "one-size-fits-all" when
it comes to methodologies. While most firms will benefit from a methodology,
a level of customization is needed to realize the client's maximize
benefit. |
